Peri & Sons Farms is seeking applications for a full-time Business Analyst in Yerington, NV.
Position Summary:
This position collects and analyzes data to support operational decision-making and strategies. Some of the job functions include:
- Collecting data from various departments and sources; acquiring a thorough understanding of the business needs and requirements of other departments within the company.
- Filtering and identifying relevant data; analyzing the data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other patterns as business needs dictate.
- Making recommendations that reduce cost, reduce risk, support compliance, improve efficiency, and/or optimize resource allocation.
- Communicating with stakeholders to solve complex problems; collaborating with others to shape and/or drive business strategies.
- Providing data analysis and guidance to other departments in support of accomplishing their objectives.
- Performing internal audits.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration, economics, accounting, management, mathematics, or a similar field).
- Three or more years of experience in an Analyst role.
- Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including and especially Excel).
Physical Demands and Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office setting but may occasionally need to be present in a field or shop setting. There is low exposure to physical risk in the office setting. There is moderate to high exposure to physical risk when visiting areas where large equipment is being operated. There is moderate exposure from other various equipment and activity within the machinery shops and other areas surrounding. There is moderate to high exposure to risk when visiting fields or packing sheds.
Compensation: Starting base salary will be competitive and will depend on the candidate’s qualifications. Eligibility for discretionary profit-sharing bonuses after 1 year. Information regarding the benefits package is available on our career’s webpage: https://periandsons.com/join-our-team.
